Objective: Obesity and Overweight is increasing in developing countries. Obesity has undesired consequences especially in children and adolescents. The purpose of this study was to compare attachment rate to parents, and affective control in adolescents (11-18) regarding to body mass index.
Method: So, 366 adolescents were selected using multi-step cluster sampling. Participants were overweight (n=145), BMI>25, and normal (n= 211), BMI<25, that completed Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised,( IPPA-R), and Affective Control Scale.
Results:One-way analysis of variance and multivariate analysis of variance by using SPSS-16 at p<0/05, indicated that there was a significant difference among attachment rate to mother, and depression control in two groups.
Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that attachment to mother is an important factor that can contribute to the weight gain and obesity.

Objective: Obesity is one of the health threatening problems and the second preventable mortality factor, the prevalence of which is increasing. The most frequent consequence of obesity treatment among adults is weight regain; so, preventing gradual weight regain should be the first goal in this case. The present study aims at determining the predictive power of biological, psychological and social factors in maintaining weight in the overweight and the obese.
Method: Therefore, 157 obese women referred to Sina Hospital Obesity Clinic were selected by purposeful sampling method. The subjects filled out the self-report questionnaires at the beginning of the study. Then, they underwent diet and sport medicine interventions. At the end of the sixth month, weight of the subjects was measured and the weight loss was studied.
Results: Results obtained from stepwise regression analysis indicated that among the studied variables of the research, subjective weight (SW), weight cycling, state and trait anxiety, body areas satisfaction (BAS) and appearance evaluation (AE) have more predictive power in explaining weight maintenance variance and could explain successful weight maintenance by 37%.
Conclusion: The findings of the study show that weight maintenance has a positive meaningful relationship with subjective weight (SW), weight cycling, state anxiety and body areas satisfaction (BAS); also, there is a meaningful negative relationship with the said variable and trait anxiety and appearance evaluation (AE). Hence, programming for cognitive and emotional interventions is assumed necessary in clinical interventions for obesity.

Methods: 85 addicted were randomly selected during three months and Rosenstein & Keefe's Pain Coping Strategies Questionnaire (PCSQ) and McCare & Costa´s NEO PI-R inventory were administered on them.
Results: Finding showed addicts got more scores in neuroticism personality traits and disastrous thought pain coping strategies. Also correlation analysis showed that there are positive significant relationship between neuroticism and disastrous thought, negative significant relationship between agreeableness and disastrous thought, negative significant relationship between neuroticism and diverting attention, positive significant relationship between extroversion and conscientiousness with diverting attention.
Conclusions: With regard to findings it is recommended that in drug treatment, for changing the attitudes and thinking in addicts, psychologists can apply psychological treatments specially cognitive-behavior therapy to reduce bad and abnormal thinking level about pain so that the length during of treatment decline and as a results reduce the personality problems that is related with addiction before and in during of drug treatment.

In order to analyze of the data, descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation, Pearson correlation), and inferential statistical method (t-test) was used.
Results :Findings showed that: Family historyof drug usewas significantin family of both sexes, Divorce in female addictswas reported more, andambivalent insecure attachment style was a common style as well asa significant relationship between insecure attachment style with neurotic personality traits were observed

Method: This research is an experimental design (pre-test - post-test) was performed with the control group. The study population included all women referred to the Cancer Treatment Centers of Amol city. From this population, 20 patients were randomly selected and randomly divided into control and experimental groups (each group, n = 10) were replaced. Treatment was administered for 8 sessions of 90 minutes. Instruments included the General Health Questionnaire was GHQ28. The data were analyzed using covariance method.
Results: The findings showed that the post-test showed a significant difference between control and experimental groups in the mental health component there.
Conclusion: The findings showed that group Logotherapy effective on promotion mental health of patients with breast cancer and can increase resilience and adaptation to cancer patients.

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of Hope therapy as a way to increase life expectancy on HIV patients.
Method: This is a quasi-experimental research study (pre-test, post-test with an unbalanced control group). In this study, 20 cases of HIV-positive men selected in purposive sampling and placed in to three groups of pretest, test and control with non –random method in the infectious center of behavior disorders in Mashhad. Schneider hope exam, Snyder (1991) with the coefficient reliability of 0/89, was used for control and experimental groups, and after 8 weeks of treatment expectancy (twice a week) in both groups had the final test. The duties were Equal to t-test and were analyzed in dependently.
Results: The Results showed that hope therapy in the groups causes significant increase in life expectancy among the HIV patients.
Conclusions: The hypotheses results with other research of field Hope therapy, has agreement.

Objective: This research was done with the purpose of the survey of cognitive therapy in increasing of mental health in nurses who work at exceptional rehabilitation centers.
Method: This survey is the clinical trial of the semi-experimental with pre-test and post-test with control group. Population of this research is the nurses who work at Emam Ali rehabilitation center. From the 30 of these nurses that after done the General Health Questionnaire and got the less score by the random sampling were divided them into control and trial group. The members of trial group were attended in cognitive therapy instruction, in 10 sessions, but the control group didn’t attend in any instruction sessions. Data were analyzed with the covariance analyzing system.
Results: The scores of mental health and it’s forth dimensions are increasing in trial group against of the scores in control group.
Conclusion: The results are showed that the cognitive therapy has remarkable effect on increasing of mental health and its dimensions on the nurses of the research.
