Objective: Since the researchers always pay attention to the factors related to the physical and psychological health of adolescence, therefore, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the prediction of therapeutic daily dietary intake based on body image concern, difficulties in emotion regulation, and self-concept in secondary high school girl students of Ahvaz. Method: The population of this study was all secondary high school girl students of Ahvaz city. A sample of 360 girl students was selected by multi-stage cluster random-assignment sampling. The research design was descriptive-correlational. For collecting Data, Littleton & et al body image concern questionnaire (2005), Gratz & Roemer difficulties in emotion regulation Scale (2004), Beck self-concept questionnaire (1978), and Martz & et al cognitive-behavioral dieting Scale (1996) were used. Findings: The results of Pearson's simple correlation coefficient showed that there was a significant correlation between body image concern (p<0.01, r=0.389), difficulties in emotion regulation (p<0.01, r=0.245), and self-concept (p<0.01, r=0.214) with therapeutic daily dietary intake. Also, regression showed that self-concept and body image concern were more appropriate predictor variables for therapeutic daily dietary intake respectively. Conclusion: According to the findings, strengthening the self-concept, body image positive and, emotion regulation in adolescents can be effective in their daily dietary intake.

Objective: Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease that has many effects on patients' mental health. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of metacognitive therapy on body image concern, anxiety and depression in psoriasis patients. Method: This research was a quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest and control group. Thirty people with psoriasis in Mashhad (Iran) selected by available sampling method and the randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent 8 sessions to metacognitive therapy, while the control group did not receive any intervention. The participants completed Body Image Concern Inventory (BICI), Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) and Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI-II). Data were analyzed by SPSS software, using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). Findings: The findings showed that there was a significant difference between experimental and control groups in body image concern, anxiety and depression scores (P< 0.05). Conclusion: The results suggested that metacognitive therapy has a significant effect on reducing body image concern, anxiety and depression in psoriasis patients. Therefore, therapist can use this method to reduce body image concern, anxiety and depression in these patients.

Objective: The present study was conducted to determine the relationship between body image anxiety and obsessive beliefs with body management in applicant of cosmetic surgery. Method: The method of the present study is correlational and structural equation model type. The statistical population of this study included all applicants for cosmetic surgery referred to clinics and beauty hospitals in Mashhad, 2019. Samples were selected by available sampling method (212 people). Data were collected by using three BICI body image concern questionnaires, Yale-Brown's modified scale of obsessive-compulsive disorder for body dysfunction, and body management, and they were analyzed by structural equation modeling using LISREL and SPSS software. Findings: The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the variables of concern about body image and body management, respectively, were strong predictors of the possibility of cosmetic surgery. Also, data analysis shows the appropriateness of the indicators and indicated a good and acceptable fitness for the hypothesized model at a significant level. The findings of the structural model showed that the path of obsessive disorder variable is directly and significant related to concern of body image and is related to body management by mediating anxiety about body image. Conclusion: In order to improve body management in the cosmetic surgery applicants should pay more attention to the components of their body image concerns and obsessive beliefs.

Objective: Not only obesity itself, but also the side effects of obesity that affect mental and social health, which sometimes the treatment of these side effects in helping people is given priority over the treatment of obesity. Obesity stigma as biased attitude toward obese individuals can be associated with mental health and body image concerns of women with obesity stigma, is a side effect. Meanwhile, exercise, and especially aerobic exercise training program as reinforces of psychological and physiological functions, can be considered as factors affecting the mental health and body image concerns of women with obesity stigma. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of aerobic exercise program on mental health and body image concerns of women with obesity stigma. Method: The research method is semi-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. So, 20 young women with obesity stigma were selected according to the DSM-5 diagnostic interview for eating disorders and the weight self-stigma questionnaire (Lillis et al. 2010) by convenience sampling method, then were assessed at the beginning and end of the aerobic exercise training program using the 28-item Mental Health Questionnaire (Goldberg & Hiller, 1979) and Body Image Concerns Inventory (Littleton, 2005). Findings: Finally, data were analyzed using Uni/Multivariate analysis of variance. According to the results, the aerobic exercise training program increased mental health and reduced body image anxiety in women with obesity stigma. Conclusion: Therefore, exercise programs can influence women's obesity and its associated dimensions, along with psychological intervention
