Introduction: Health promoting lifestyle is one of the health criteria. Various factors are involved in the implementation of this lifestyle .the current study was conducted in order to determine the role of health locus of control and attachment style in predicting health promoting lifestyle. Methods :this research was a descriptive – correlational study . the sample was consist of 215 student of behshahr Payame noor university that was selected according to available sampling. Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile(HPLP), multidimensional health locus of control(MHLC), - Adult Attachment Style(AAS),were used for collecting of data. Data were analyzed using correlation and stepwise regression analysis method. Results:The study showed a significant relationship between internal health locus of control (r = ./38), secure attachment styles(r=./26) and chance health locus of control (r=-./18), with health promoting lifestyle. Final finding of this research show that internal health locus of control had the greatest power to predict health promoting lifestyle(β=./35). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that health locus of control and attachment style are proper predictors for psychological well-being. Therefore is important development positive beliefs about health and notification people of the attachment style.

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare and evaluate family functioning in families with a member suffering from headache and families without this situation. Methods: The participants in this study were 124 patients who were suffering from recurring headaches and chronic headaches, 69 patients had chronic headache and 55 patients suffering from recurring headaches. In the control group, there was 53 individuals had not a history of severe headaches. Participants of this study who chose in neurology clinics was sampled as in access participants. They complete demographic questionnaire and Family Assessment Device (FAD), and MANOVA (multivariate analysis of variance) test performed for this goal. Results showed that there was significant difference between chronic headache, non-chronic headache, and control group (p<0.01). Otherwise, there was significant difference between these groups in FAD's subscales. Findings: Games-Howell post hoc test indicated patients with chronic headache had poorer family function in comparison to control group. Conclusion: We can conclude that families of headache patients in particular chronic headache, have dysfunctional family and we should consider the role of family in consolidation and deterioration of headaches more than past. Off course giving attention to family factors could be help us in understanding this complex disorder

Objective: Nowadays family as an important social factor that effects chronic pain is being considered by researchers. Family is an effective environment in physical and mental health of people that provides the necessary conditions for development and achieve physical, mental and social balance. Methods: Family provides this conditions through a series of common actions which named family function. The aim of present study was to exam the contribution of dimensions of family function in fear of movement at patients with musculoskeletal chronic pain selected randomly. Family Assessment Device (FAD) and TAMPA questionnaire for assessing fear of movement is completed by participants. Results: It was found that there was a relation with family function dimensions and fear of movement variables and this relation was direct and among family function dimensions, problem solving, affective involvement, and affective responsiveness. Conclusion: Communication were the most related dimensions with fear of movement and problem solving is the most related one (9.1).

Objective: Marital satisfaction is one of important consequences of a good couple relationships and is a main indicator for evaluation of its functionality. This study was conducted to evaluate effect of diagnosis and medical treatments of breast cancer on marital satisfaction of women, by comparing to the general population. Method: In this descriptive-comparative study, 50 women with breast cancer who had referred to the department of Radiotherapy in Imam Hussein Hospital for complementary therapies and 50 women of general population were selected based on using purposive sampling, and then answered to the Dyadic Adjustment Scale (Spaneir 1976). The data were processed through Sciences Statistical Package for the Social (SPSS 19) to calculate independent T test. Findings: Findings indicate significant deference (sig=0/001) between marital satisfaction of two groups and lower marital satisfaction of breast cancer. Conclusion: According to the finding of this study and with regarding of finding reported by other related studies, it seems that considering marital satisfaction during early stages of diagnosis and medical treatments is a mental health necessity.

Method: The research method was causal-comparative, 147 persons of spouses' cancer patients using random sampling method selected. Collected in this study three questionnaires: rumination Nolen-Hoksema and psychological well-being (Mc Cummins, 2006) and anxiety beck.Data were calculated from the correlation matrix then relationship between these variables derived through series of multiple regression analysis(Using SPSS software). Results: The results showed that there was a Significant negative relation between rumination and psychological well-being a Significant positive relationship exists between rumination and anxiety, and predictor Variable (rumination) are able to predict feed changes of psychological well-being and anxiety Variable. Conclusion: Study results suggest that low psychological well-being of spouses of patients with cancer. Therefore the mental needs of cancer patients Essential component in the successful treatment of patients. Keywords: rumination, psychological well-being, anxiety.

Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the general health and Self-esteem Status Of the aged women trained in Iran Alzheimer's Association and Other.Method: Forty aged women were selected and divided into 2 groups via matched pair design. One group (n=20) was trained in Iran Alzheimer's Association and (n=20) was not trained and not association. The research method was causal-comparative and the data were collected via Goldberg's general health questionnaire and Cooper Smite self-esteem inventory. Findings: First Result of one-sample t-test showed that general health and self-esteem were high in aged women population. Second Result of independent t-test showed that both variables in the trained group were higher than the ones in the untrained group (Sig. 0/001). Third result with the same linear regression model indicated the relationship between general health and self-esteem of aged women. Fourth result based on matched chi square test, no relationship was seen between self-esteem and general health of aged women with their personal characteristics (education level, marital status, job position, economic situation, health conditions). Conclusion: Aged women training affects their general health and self-esteem.
