Objective: The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of unified trans-diagnostic treatment on the emotional expression and sexual function of the infertile women. Method: It was a quasi-experimental study with pretest, posttest and control group design. Two-month follow-up period was administered too. The statistical population included infertile women who referred to Infertility Clinic at Mother and Child Hospital and Samar Infertility Clinic in the city of Shiraz in the winter of 2021. Thirty six infertile women were selected through voluntary sampling method and randomly accommodated into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received ten sessions of unified trans-diagnostic treatment during two-and-a-half-months. The applied questionnaires in this study included Emotional Expression Questionnaire (EEQ) (King, Emmons, 1990) and Sexual Function Questionnaire (Keraskian, Mojembari and Kaiballah, 2014). The collected data were analyzed through mixed ANOVA via SPSS23 software. Findings: The results showed that unified trans-diagnostic treatment has significant effect on the emotional expression (F=39.82; Eta=0.54; P<0001) and sexual function (F=31.88; Eta=0.49; P<0001) in the infertile women. Conclusion: According to the findings of the present study it can be concluded that unified trans-diagnostic treatment can be used as an efficient therapy to improve emotional expression and sexual function in the infertile women through employing techniques such as identifying emotions, emotional awareness, cognitive reassessment, and identifying patterns of emotion avoidance.

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on mood swings, sleep quality and sexual function in postmenopausal women. Method: The research method was quasi-experimental type with pre-test and post-test design with experimental and control group. The statistical population of this study was all postmenopausal women referring to health centers in 7 District of Tehran in the first quarter of 1397. From this community, 30 people were selected and assigned to two experimental and control groups. Thirty women were selected from the statistical population based on the available sampling method, the experimental group was 15 and the control group was 15. The data was collected using a questionnaire by Watson et al. (1988), The woman’s Sexual Function index of Rosen et al (2000). And Pittsburgh sleep Quality index (1989). Then, multivariate analysis of covariance (statistical) Method was used to analyze the data. Findings: The findings showed that acceptance and commitment therapy can improve sexual function, reduce negative mood and sleep Quality in postmenopausal women. Conclusion: This treatment in contrast to cognitive therapy targets avoidance for their therapies in order to experience rather than control or change the negative assessments and creates a major opening. Therefore, Acceptance and commitment therapy can be used for improving sexual function, improving people's mood and increasing sleep Quality in postmenopausal women.

Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of to investigate the effect of Intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy on emotional expression and sexual function in women with multiple sclerosis. Method: The present study was semi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest design with the control group. Out of women with MS who referred to Kermanshah comprehensive clinic in 2017, 28 were selected through targeted sampling and interviewed and randomly assigned to two groups of experimental and control groups. The King and Emmons Expression Expression Questionnaire (1990) and the sexual function of women in Rosen & et al (2000) were used for pre-test and post-test for data collection. short-term dynamic psychotherapy for the experimental group was grouped twice a week in 20 sessions of 60 minutes. To analyze the data, multivariate covariance test was used by SPSS software version 23. Result: The results of the analysis on the pre-test and post-test scores showed that there is a significant difference between the two groups of the test and control groups in the sexual function variables (P <0.05) and emotional expression (P<0.01). In other words, interventional therapy increases the mean scores of emotional expression and sexual function of the experimental group in the post-test phase. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it is suggested that using counseling centers, health clinics ,and MS associations throughout the country to increase the emotional expression and sexual function of women with multiple sclerosis using short-term dynamic psychotherapy techniques.
