Objective: Post-traumatic growth and ambiguity tolerance are known as the most important psychological factors in cancer patients. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of predicting anxiety symptoms based on ambiguity tolerance and post-traumatic growth in women with breast cancer. Method: The present study was descriptive of the correlational type. The population of the present study was all women with breast cancer in two private centers in Tehran in the second half of 2017, of which 150 people were selected by purposful sampling to test the hypotheses. The participants answered Beck's anxiety questionnaires (1990), Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) inventory (Tedeschi & Calhoun, 1996) and Ambiguity to tolerance (AT) Inventory (macline 2009, second version) and The obtained data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression. Findings: The results showed that ambiguity tolerance explained 26.4% of the variance of anxiety symptoms in women with breast cancer. In the second stage, the inclusion of post-traumatic growth components into the equation explained 39.6% of the variance of anxiety symptoms. Also, among the components of post-traumatic growth, two components of life value and relationship with others negatively and significantly predicted anxiety symptoms in breast cancer patients. Conclusion: Based on the results of the present study, it can be said that post-traumatic growth and ambiguity tolerance have a good predictive role in the anxiety symptoms of breast cancer patients.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness training based on acceptance, commitment and compassion on pain catastrophizing, distress tolerance and post-traumatic growth in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome. Method: This study was done by semi-experimental approach with two groups and three stages (pre-test, posttest & follow up). 30 patients with fibromyalgia syndrome were selected through available sampling and randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. Intervention was administered to the experimental group for 10 sessions. The research tools were included of the Pain Catastrophizing Scale of Sullivan et al (1995), Simons & Gaher Distress Tolerance Questionnaire (2005), and Post Traumatic Growth Questionnaire of Tedeschi & Calhoun (1996). Findings: The results showed that training based on acceptance, commitment and compassionhas significant effects on pain catastrophizing, distress tolerance and post-traumatic growth in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (p < 0.001). These effects have remained in the 45 days follow-up period. Conclusion: According to the results, training based on acceptance, commitment and compassionhave implications for improving the psychological state of patients with fibromyalgia that can be used to improve the quality of life of these patients.

Objective: Blood cancer is the fifth common cancer in adults that can be threatening. The aim of this study was to predict the Post Traumatic Growth based on gratitude and social support in women with blood cancer. Methods: The research design was correlational with a predictive aim based on regression method. 82 women with blood cancer were recruited from both inpatients and outpatients’ settings in Namazi hospital and Mottahari clinic using convenient sampling procedure. Measures were Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (Tedeschi and Calhoun, 1996), the Gratitude Questionnaire (Goodarzi, Noori & Marzooghi, 1393) and Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley, 1988). Findings gratitude and social support were significantly correlated with Post Traumatic Growth and prediction was also significant. Conclusion:it can be concluded that promoting gratitude in these patients and providing social support for them might contribute to Post Traumatic Growth.
