		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Objective: &lt;/strong&gt;Multiple sclerosis affects the physical and psychological state of many patients. The purpose of this study was to compare perceived social support and self-compassion among patients with multiple sclerosis and normal people.&lt;strong&gt; Method: &lt;/strong&gt;The present study was a causal-comparative study. In this study, 200 individuals with multiple sclerosis and 200 healthy individuals were selected by sampling method as a sample of this study in the years 1396-97. The research tools included perceived social support scale and self-compassion scale. Data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance. &lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;The results showed that there is a significant difference between the group of patients with multiple sclerosis and healthy people in terms of perceived social support and self-compassion.&lt;strong&gt; Conclusion: &lt;/strong&gt;People with multiple sclerosis uses perceived social support and self-compassion for more adaptation to disease.</Abstract>
